catching the train to the airport and boarding the plane, i felt rather neutral, not particularly excited about the upcoming, long-awaited trip.
landed in sunny Los Angeles and got our car... drove around and realised that Los Angeles wasn't exactly what i imagined it to be... glitsy and starry. It was just another normal city, so i guess its the people that are in a place that really characterises a place, and not the buildings or roads.
visited the chinese theater and the hollywood walk of fame. it was quite cool to be able to see things that I used to be able to only see on TV.
